"Shenjiang No. 7" Shield Tunnel Boring Machine Breaks Through 1,000 Meters of Excavation and Tunnel Segment Assembly
On April 19, the "Shenjiang No. 7" shield tunnel boring machine achieved a milestone, surpassing 1,000 meters of excavation and tunnel segment assembly in the western section of the Shenzhen-Jiangmen High Speed Railway Shenzhen-Dongguan Tunnel. The western section of the Tunnel spans approximately 15 kilometers, with the 3.84-kilometer shield section constructed by China Railway 11th Bureau Group Corporation Limited. This section features a 13-meter-diameter single-hole, double-line tunnel, making it a critical and challenging engineering project for the entire line.
