Nowadays, internet e-commerce and live-streaming commerce have become crucial models for empowering rural revitalization. Live-streaming sales provide a fast option for agricultural products to reach households from the fields, contributing to the prosperity of rural industries and effectively promoting local specialties.
In 2023, CR invested 1.7 million yuan in assistance funds and donated a mobile live-streaming platform to support rural revitalization. The platform incorporates advanced, mature, and reliable technology and products in the industry. It is compatible with the existing equipment at Luanchuan County’s media convergence center, with reserved space for future upgrades to meet the needs of comprehensive media live streaming. Once operational, the platform is expected to save approximately 250,000 yuan in promotional costs annually for rural revitalization and assistance to farmers in Luanchuan. Leveraging this platform, Luanchuan County can conduct various live-streaming and rebroadcasting activities centered around rural culture and led by distinctive industries. This will allow the county to showcase its ecological landscapes, farming culture, specialty crops, ancient villages, and other resources on new media platforms, further activating rural resources and promoting the widespread popularity of Luanchuan’s unique agricultural products.
The mobile live-streaming platform also lays the foundation for the implementation of Luanchuan County’s “1121” live-streaming assistance program. Over a year, the county plans to organize 100 live-streaming assistance events, providing free live-streaming and sales services to over 200 rural economic cooperatives, to boost the income of local residents by over 10 million yuan.
It is worth noting that since CR started its targeted assistance to Luanchuan County, it has cumulatively invested approximately 210 million yuan in various assistance funds and implemented 147 assistance projects in areas such as industry, party building, education, healthcare, and infrastructure. These efforts have effectively improved the rural landscape and stimulated vitality in rural development.
