“Welcome aboard the ‘Red Scarf Express.’ We look forward to sharing this delightful journey with all of you.” On January 27 at 11:46 am, Train T147, also known as the “Red Scarf Express,” departed from Nanchang, carrying 1,152 passengers on a journey to Beijing. “For decades, the Young Pioneers of China have steadfastly followed the Communist Party of China, breathing the same air and sharing the same destiny with our motherland.” “Guided by the fragrance of ink, we venture into the realm of books and imagination.” On this day, various activities centered around the theme “Literary Journey with Southern Railways” were conducted, including storytelling about revolutionary history by the train staff, recitation of poems, word games, and quizzes on civilized travel knowledge.

As each activity unfolded, passengers actively participated, creating a lively atmosphere within the train carriages. The railway staff distributed brochures on civilized travel and encouraged everyone to endorse the initiative. Passengers were also invited to sign and pledge their commitment to civilized travel. Those who became “Ambassadors of Civilized Travel” received creative gifts.

A reading corner set up in the dining car attracted the attention of many passengers. “To foster a positive travel atmosphere and provide a warm, comfortable, and safe travel experience during the Spring Festival travel rush, we’ve established a reading corner in carriage No. 9 of the ‘Red Scarf Express.’ Here, passengers can freely borrow children’s books, essays, poems, novels, and more,” explained Xiong Linghui, an off-campus tutor on the “Red Scarf Express.”
