In recent days, CR-Urumqi has diligently implemented the requirements for ensuring thermal coal supply, focusing on serving national energy security. They optimized transport organization and solidly carried out winter thermal coal supply work, effectively ensuring the stable operation of the national economy and a safe and warm winter for the people.
CR-Urumqi fully leveraged its regional advantages, strengthened precise dispatching and transport organization, and formulated coal transport plans reasonably. They dynamically adjusted the flow of trains, optimized daily dispatching plans, and improved plan fulfillment rates, with a focus on improving the efficiency of loading and unloading coal cars and returning empty open-top cars to better utilize train capacity. While organizing the shipment of whole trains of coal using open cars, they actively used open-top boxcars, insisted on loading thermal coal whenever there was a request, and gave priority access to boundary points, directing transportation resources toward coal transport.
In response to the recent drop in temperatures, CR-Urumqi closely monitored coal antifreeze measures and actively organized the transportation of household coal in southern Xinjiang. They vigorously operated open cars and open-top boxcar coal dedicated trains between regions under the jurisdiction of different local railway authorities, adjusted the routes of freight trains, and dispatched coal from multiple points, ensuring the demand for coal from enterprises in Gansu, Qinghai, Ningxia, and the southwest region.
